The Best Brownies


1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cups ap flour

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup chocolate chips

3/4 teaspoons salt

2 eggs

1/2 cup canola ool

2 tablespoons water

1 tsp vanilla extract


Preheat oven to 325°. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment and set aside.


In the bowl of a stand mixer, using the whisk attachment, mix together the eggs, olive oil, water, and vanilla.


Once combined, all all remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Mix until just combined.


Add 1/2 chocolate chips and mix once or twice to incorporate


Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on the top.


Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with only a few crumbs (note: it's to pull the brownies out early than to leave them in too long).


Cool completely before slicing - at least two hours. You can put in the fridge after an hour to speed this up.
