Not Enough Garlic Knots

Homemade pizza dough or 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (approx 20oz)

Salt and Pepper to taste

3/4 tsp dried parsley

1 tbs dried chives

4-6 cloves of garlic finely diced (I used 4 very large cloves for 5 knots)

2 tbs dairy free Parmesan cheese (I use Follow Your Heart)

olive oil

Pre heat oven to 400 degrees

Divide dough into even portions (for my homemade pizza dough, I had enough for 5 knots. If you use 20oz, you should have between 8-10 portions)

Roll and squeeze each portion to long strips. Tie in a knot and fold over ends. Let rest while preparing the rest.

In a small pan, pour a healthy amount of olive oil (4-5 good glugs)

Add over low heat parsley, chives, salt, pepper, and garlic. Sautee constantly stirring until garlic is fragrant but not browned. Take off the hear and then add in about 1/2 the cheese whisking until combined.

On a parchment lined baking sheet place knots a few inches apart. "Paint" each knot generously with oil mixture on all exposed sides and tops. Make sure everything except the bottom has been coated. Then spoon some of the herbs and garlic on the very top. Reserve all extra.

Bake for 20-24 minutes until each knot has turned golden.

While knots are hot from the oven, "paint" again with oil mixture 1-2 more times.

Enjoy while warm!
