When I started baking all the dairy free things the one stumbling block I couldn’t seem to hurdle was sprinkles.
Every time I use a new food or product I contact the company to ask not only about the ingredients but also the manufacturing processes, equipment, and facility.
Every sprinkle company I called had shared equipment with dairy! I refused to accept this - there had to be safe ones out there! The good news is I’ve found THREE dairy free safe options!!!!
1) @sweetsindeed - I just DMed with them, and their sprinkles are totally dairy free!! They also are fancy and cute and it’s hard not to buy every single sprinkle mix they make!!
2) @officialcakemate - they were amazingly quick with communication over email and their nonpareils (pictured here!) and rainbow sprinkles “jimmies” are safe!!!
3) @indiatree - they have every color imaginable for sanding sugar. They also use natural dyes for their carnival mix!
My son has eaten all three of these brands safely! And it makes me so happy to add these to my baked treats!
Have fun and sprinkle on!!!
Also rainbow sno caps -
Line a tray w tin foil and sprinkle even layers of sprinkles or nonpareils.
Melt dairy free chocolate w 1/2 tsp of coconut oil and drop onto sprinkles
Pop in fridge for 15 minutes and enjoy!
